Salon Privé London
When: 21st April – 23rd April 2022
Where: Royal Hospital Chelsea, London
The Salon Privé is world renowned for being the UK’s most prestigious and elegant motor show. Therefore, expectations are high for the inaugural Salon Privé London event taking place this Spring and kickstarting the European concours season.
The likes of Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and McLaren are all likely to have new models on display at the 3-day event. However, the key attraction will be the Concours de Vente, which will have 60 immaculate classic cars on display, and for the first time ever, they will all be for sale over the weekend.

Fully Charged LIVE
When: 29th April – 1st May 2022
Where: Farnborough International
A festival of electrically charged vehicles and clean energy.
Fully Charged LIVE is the biggest event of its kind in the world, with every type and size of electric vehicle including more than 100 electric cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and mopeds, bicycles, trikes, scooters, skateboards, classics, and concepts on show.
Visitors to the show can also take part in thousands of test drives; soak up knowledge from an independent team of home energy advisors; and enjoy more than 50 live clean living theatre sessions.

Donington Historic Festival
When: 30th Apr – 1st May 2022
Where: Donington Park, Derby
Cars spanning a century of history will be seen, with everything from pioneering machinery from the pre-war period to sports cars and touring cars from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. The event will also feature iconic Group C endurance racing cars in 2022.
As well as the stunning on-track action, off track areas will be bustling courtesy of car club displays and busy trade areas, in addition to on-track parades and a free pit walk on both days.

Masters Historic Festival
When: 28th -29th May 2022
Where: Brands Hatch, Kent
Masters Racing Legends (F1 cars from ’70s & ’80s) will headline the meeting as a range of retro F1 machines return to a circuit that’s changed little since they raced there in that period. Manufacturers including McLaren, Williams, Lotus and Tyrrell are set to be represented.
Other highlights will include the Masters Endurance Legends for ‘90s and ‘00s Le Mans challengers, plus the Masters Sports Car Legends for earlier ‘60s and ‘70s long-distance machinery. The meeting will also feature sublime grids of GT cars from the Masters Gentleman Drivers, retro tin top entertainment from the Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars.

The 27th annual Nostalgia Nationals, supported by the NSRA. Pre-’73 RWYB for Hot Rods, Kustoms and Street Machines alongside traditional front-engine Dragsters, Competition Altereds and early Doorslammer race cars. Live entertainment, trade stands and ‘power parking’ show area.

Isle of Man TT
When: 4th – 10 June 2022
Where: Isle of Mann
The Isle of Man TT races are back with an unmissable event, after some challenging times over the last few years 2022 is set to be a full on return to form at the home of real road racing.
The racing schedule has been announced and is unchanged from 2020 so you can enjoy up to 4 race days and a total of 8 races. The world’s greatest road racers gather together to test themselves on the famous ‘Mountain Course’ of 37.73 miles.

Brooklands Festival of Motorsport
When: 18th – 19th June 2022
Where: Brooklands Museum, Surrey
Enjoy this 2 day extravaganza, featuring the three Double Twelve Competition events and Test Hill ascents. Both days will feature festival fun on the Museum site, with live music, car and motor club displays, great food and entertainment for the whole family.
The event celebrates Brooklands’ rich motoring and motorsport history, and is always held on the weekend closest to the anniversary of the original opening of the race track on the 17th June 1907.

London Classic Car Show

2022 marks the 8th annual London Classic Car Show, More than 700 stunning classic cars will be on display alongside a feast of additional attractions to entertain and inspire show-goers of all ages. From vintage Formula 1 racing cars to American muscle cars it’s the undeniable event of the season for the UK’s car enthusiasts.

Le Mans 24 Hour Race
When: 11 – 12 June 2022
Where: Circuit de la Sarthe, France
The 2022 Le Mans race will be the 90th running of the world’s most famous endurance race, held in La Sarthe on the legendary circuit. It’s the pinnacle of sports car racing featuring the best cars and famous drivers over a gruelling 24 hours. The race begins at 3 pm on the Saturday and ends at the same time on the Sunday. Watch from the grandstand for a thrilling motorsport experience.

Festival of Speed
When: 23 – 26 June 2022
Where: Goodwood House, Chichester
The Festival of Speed calls itself the largest and most famous of all the car shows in the calendar. Held over a long summer weekend at Goodwood Estate in Chichester, the Festival is an extravaganza to celebrate motorsport, from Edwardian classic cars right through to cutting edge supercars and F1 models. Formula 1 British Grand Prix
When: 01 – 03 July 2022
Where: Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire
Watch the British Grand Prix in person as the Formula One season comes to Silverstone racetrack. The three-day weekend event is a celebration of motorsport, with some of the best cars and drivers out on the track. There’s a range of ticket packages available, from grabbing a seat in the grandstands to exclusive access into the T1 Enclosure area.

Carfest Retro, North and South

This all-encompassing car show is the brainchild of Chris Evans and now has two locations for 2022 – North in Cheshire and South in Hampshire. It’s a true car festival, with car exhibits and races alongside live music stages, food and drink venues and funfair rides. New for this year, Retro CarFest celebrates classic and iconic cars in a truly ‘retro’ setting with a roller disco, vinyl fair and performances from some of the finest tribute bands money can buy. All the proceeds go to UK Children’s charities too.

The Classic at Silverstone

A festival for petrol heads over the August bank holiday weekend. The Classic has something for the whole family, whether it’s watching wheel to wheel racing on track, joining one of the 120 car clubs that attend each year, jumping behind the wheel yourself for a driving experience or purchasing your dream car at Silverstone Auctions three-day auction.

The British Motor Show
When: 18 – 21 August 2022
Where: Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, Farnborough
Making a return for 2022, The British Motor Show combines past, present and future into 4 days’ worth of car content. Taking place at Farnborough International Expo Centre, brands will be showcasing their latest cars and you can even get a look at famous industry faces over on The Live Stage. There’s stunt shows, pro-drifting, passenger rides with the Sporting Bears, supercars, motorsport, classic cars, monster trucks and The Technology Hall for all the latest motoring tech. Ahead of the main event will be The Virtual Motor Show to deliver the latest news, car releases and expert advice.

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester
The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of racing cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit’s original period—1948–1966.
The festival is a showcase for wheel-to-wheel racing around a classic circuit, untouched by more modern developments, and relives the glory days of Goodwood Circuit, which ranked alongside Silverstone as Britain’s leading racing venue throughout its active years. The festival includes Grand Prix cars from the 1950s and 1960s, sports and GT cars, as well as historic saloon cars.
The vast majority of Revival visitors dress in period style with many going to great lengths to achieve that authentic look. The resulting step-back-in-time spectacle plays a key role in making the Revival such a unique event.

IAA – International Motor Show
When: 20th – 25th September 2022
Where: Hanover, Germany
Hannover is now set to host the completely redesigned IAA, previously held in Frankfurt as the Frankfurt Motor Show. The autumn event sees many carmakers showing their new designs and models to the world. See highlights from the incredible German automotive industry and explore the latest concept cars and technological ideas. The Bavarian capital is set to help the IAA continue to evolve from a motor show into a mobility platform where visitors can get a glance into technological advances and the future of mobility.

NEC Classic Motor Show

The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show brings together a great array of classic car and motorcycle clubs along with their iconic classic and vintage cars and motorbikes, is an event not to be missed.
