February Car Stats for the UK
New Car registrations for February 2017
New car registrations have been growing nicely over the past few years, in January we saw the strongest January for nine years. However, February saw a small drop in new car registrations since 2011. The small drop in new car registrations is not causing too much concern as it is expected that March will be strong with purchasers taking advantage of the new 2017 plate, and the change in road tax. We expect to see a high in new registrations of cars that would be eligible for the free road tax, before the changes come into place in April, where free road tax will no longer exist, and what would have been free will then cost you the minimum of £140.00.
